Useful Music Composing Software

I have found several open-source music composing softwares in Ubuntu Software Center. I had tried them one by one.

1. Linux Multimedia Studio
LMMS is a free cross-platform alternative to commercial programs like FL Studio®, which allow you to produce music with your computer. This includes the creation of melodies and beats, the synthesis and mixing of sounds, and arranging of samples. You can have fun with your MIDI-keyboard and much more; all in a user-friendly and modern interface.
2. Audacity
Audacity is a free, easy-to-use  audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. You can use Audacity to:
  • Record live audio.
  • Convert tapes and records into digital recordings or CDs.
  • Edit Ogg Vorbis, MP3, WAV or AIFF sound files.
  • Cut, copy, splice or mix sounds together.
  • Change the speed or pitch of a recording
3. Hydrogen Drum Machine
Hydrogen is an advanced drum machine for GNU/Linux. It's main goal is to bring professional yet simple and intuitive pattern-based drum programming. It can generate drum beats with preloaded drum sounds. And it supports 4 channels of effects.
